Read about the 2016 competition

The RPS is the professional body for all sectors of pharmacy and it’s running the competition in conjunction with C+D community pharmacy magazine, to find real life stories of the impact pharmacies have on patient care.

If you think your pharmacist goes the extra mile to help patients, you could suggest to them that they enter the competition! The deadline for entries is 28 July 2015 and it’s open to pharmacist members of the RPS (MRPharmS) from all sectors.

On the right hand side of the competition page on the RPS website under the heading “Know a great pharmacist?” there’s a link to a leaflet which you could give to yours or just have a chat with them about the competition.

This would also be an opportunity to talk to them about M.E., raising some awareness of the illness, and ask any queries you may have about medication, minor ailments or over-the-counter medicines, or perhaps have a Medication Use Review (MUR).

Update:

The finalists have now been announced and so it’s the turn of the British public to vote for their favourite, with a prize draw entry for voting. Here’s the website dedicated to the competition, where you can read more about pharmacists in general and the finalists: I Love My Pharmacist
