On Thursday, 9th July, there will be a free webinar on CFS/ME for primary care professionals.
The webinar, sponsored by Action for M.E., is presented by Dr Hazel O’Dowd, Consultant Clinical Psychologist and Deputy Chair of the British Association of CFS/M.E. (BACME). She will look at current understanding of CFS/M.E., making the diagnosis, the challenges patients and primary care professionals face, what options are available for treatment and management.
The NHS is to pilot a £15m project to employ pharmacists in GP surgeries, including monitoring patients with long-term conditions, creating medicine plans and providing advice and expertise on day-to-day medicines issues. To read more about this click here.
With this in mind, the webinar may be useful to pharmacists for CPD. Register for the webinar using the link below even if you are unable to attend, as registering will mean you will receive a link to the presentation after the event.
Update for 2017: This webinar has already happened now but visit the healthcare professionals section of the Action for M.E. website and sign up for their email newsletter to find out about more webinars being held in 2017.
